Chair Affair

On January 12, Saturday, 2008 Scott Sanders and I participated in a feature on KHQ Channel in Spokane on the "Chair Affair" at Talk-n-Coffee. Scott is the owner of Talk-n-Coffee, and big supporter of Colville Arts Foundation. Thank you Scotty! We had a lot of fun and met Ana Cabrera and Sean Ownsley, two news anchors on duty that cold wet Saturday morning in Spokane. Many thanks to everyone who made it happen! Thanks to Ana, Sean and Beverley! Also thanks to Shelly Graham, for coming up with such a great idea!

Chair Affair will happen on May 9, Friday from 6 pm - 9 pm. There will be an auction and lots of goodies to eat, and coffee by Scott Sanders, of course! Gina Greenwood of Greenwood Institute d'Art will hold a "adult" session of the tried-and-true children's party game, MUSICAL CHAIRS! There will also be a cake walk, and it will be lots of fun. Make plans now to be there.

Please plan on attending, and save the date, April 25, Friday, 2008. AT: Talk-n-Coffee, 119 East Astor, Colville, WA

Call Scott for more details at the coffee shop or to schedule a chair to paint 509-684-2373.

While we had only 3 minutes of air time, (I guess we have 12 more minutes of fame left!!!) we mentioned Shop the Frontier and Colville Arts Foundation--these links will be placed on the KHQ website. Ana Cabrera the TV news anchor, who interviewed Scott and I will arrange to have the links on the KHQ website. Four of the five chairs completed thus far were brought to the KHQ studio in Spokane and featured LIVE on TV!!!
