Additional Information:

Shelly Graham made a strong statement through stage backdrops and props in the 80s and has a unique “close up” view of the world which she brings to her contemporary pieces.

This collection of works are a journey through the ancient Hawaiian culture with some depicting the k'i’i pohaku or stone carvings in lava rock.  Each symbol carved in stone, many of which can still be seen in the Hawaiian Islands, holds a special symbolic meaning for the ancient Hawaiians.

Her paintings are in private collections in the United Kingdom and the United States with several in Hawaii

Currently, she volunteers as the art instructor for students attending the Colville Valley Junior Academy
in grades 5-8. If you are interested in contacting Shelly, email her at:

Art Glass from Marianne's Métier
Stained Glass, Garden Art, Beveled Ornaments, and Glass Tables

‘Marianne’s Métier’ is what self-taught artist Marianne Stout calls her glasswork business. Her studio is located in her home in the Onion Creek area of Stevens County, high on a cedar-filled mountaintop. ‘Métier’ is a French word defined by Webster’s as 1.) A field of work; occupation or profession  2.) A field of activity in which one has special ability or training; forte. The two words pleasingly roll off your tongue as you say them.

For more information on Marianne’s work, call her at 509-732-4868 or email: mstout@plix.com.
